Chris Weber announced that for our fiscal year 2008-2009, our club has donated just under $2,000 to the local food pantries. This is from the dollars collected each meeting.

Mark Hutchinson was the Sergeant at Arms and he tested us on some interesting facts about airplanes, cost, regulations and size.

Our scheduled speaker, Lori Eickhoff from Earthbeat was under the weather today and not able to be with us today.

We honored Becky Gross, from Gary Hamburg’s office with flowers and a gift for all her hard work in the administrative details required by the office of Secretary, Gary’s position last year on the board. Gary also received a plaque for all of his years in the office of Secretary. This is one office that does require many hours of record keeping and reporting to the other offices of Rotary, at the District and International levels. We will also be sending a plaque to Gary’s sister thanking her for her donation of her Wisconsin Dells condo as one of our leading raffle prizes for the past several years.
