The Rockford East Rotary members are a diverse group of professional leaders. We represent a wide variety of businesses, experience and outlooks on life. This makes our choice of fundraisers, community activities, and guest speakers varied and fun!

To become a member, you may come as our guest to any of our breakfast meetings held every Tuesday from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the Clocktower Resort. Meet us, talk to us, get a feel for what the group is like. You can just show up or you can contact our membership chair or our President for more information.

You’ll be sponsored and recommended for membership by an existing Rotarian who will be your mentor. You’ll need to come to at least three meetings before you can fill out a membership form and pay your dues to become a member. After doing that, you will attend a short orientation and be formerly inducted into the club. You’ll then be assigned to serve on a committee.

Membership Expectations:

• Attendance: minimum of 60% at Club, make-up at other clubs
• Contribution: payment of quarterly dues promptly upon billing
• Participation: volunteer to serve on at least one committee
• Involvement: active in supporting club events, personally and/or financially
• Leadership: volunteer to chair committees and serve on Board of Directors
• District: attend events and volunteer to serve on committees
• International: Paul Harris sustaining member ($100/year toward $1000 Fellowship)
