2009-2010 Annual Fund Raiser,
April, 2010
There is no
doubt that the city of Rockford is currently fighting a challenging economic
period and many charitable organizations are truly having a difficult
time. In spite of this, we want to do
our part to help sustain and build our Rockford community.
For the 22nd
year, the Rockford East/Cherry Valley Rotary Club is sponsoring its fundraiser
project for 2010: “Today’s
Kids-Tomorrow’s Future.” All ticket
sales must be received by Tuesday, June 8th, 2010. Each ticket has restaurant discounts and also
enters the purchaser into a raffle for some great prizes, including $1000 for
first prize.
Most
importantly, 100% of the money collected
goes to support children’s programs locally. Our 2010 beneficiaries include Rockford MELD,
Ethnic Heritage Museum, Rock River Valley Blood Center, and “Open Arms for
Those People” Youth Ministry.
This year we especially need your
help! Raffle tickets are $10 each,
and once again we hope to raise over $10,000 to help our children.
